75 Ball Bingo Rules

75 Ball Bingo which is also known as US Bingo is played with, as logic defines, 75 balls from which winning numbers are chosen. The cards used in 75 ball bingo are based on a 5x5 grid. The columns correspond to the word Bingo which is written across the top of the card. There are a total of 25 spaces on the board which are all filled with random numbers from 1-75 apart from the middle square which is a bonus square and is filled in. This is a bonus when playing 75 Ball Bingo and gives you one less square to complete if you are going for a full house or even diagonal or vertical or horizontal lines that cut through the center. Each column is assigned a range of numbers which helps the player identify the numbers more speedily. The B column or first column on the left hand side is made up of numbers 1-15 only. The I column or second column is made up of numbers 16-30, the third column is made up of numbers 31-45 in addition to the middle square being filled in as a bonus. The fourth column or G as it also known holds numbers 46-60 and the last column holds numbers 61-75.

Bingo Rules for Winning Lines

Winning calls of Bingo when playing 75 Ball Bingo can either relate to a full house where all of the numbers on the player's card have been called and identified or to a full line. The line can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal. At the beginning of each game it is important to check and know what you are aiming for, whether it is a full house or a full line. If you do think you have bingo, the floor walker at a brick casino and the computer at an online casino will check your card before calling the game as finished and declaring a winner.

90 Ball Bingo Rules

90 Ball or British Bingo is the most popular game in seaside towns and is widely played all around the UK and Australia. The rules are basically the same as when playing 75 ball bingo but in this game, the numbers on cards can go up to 90 and at the beginning of the game there is a choice of 90 balls to choose from. The Bingo card of a 90 ball game is physically larger than that of a 75 ball game and is made up of a grid of three rows and nine columns. Only 15 of these squares have numbers in and the remaining squares are left blank. Numbers are completely random on a 90 ball bingo card, making it slightly harder to identify the numbers on an individual card before the next ball is drawn as the player has to concentrate much harder to find the number that has been called before the next one is called.

Additional Versions of Bingo

In addition to 90 Ball and 75 ball bingo there are also many other versions of Bingo that can be played which have similar rules. Progressive Bingo can be played using a 90 Ball card or a 75 ball card but here, the more players there are the more money in the jackpot. Certain configurations create a winning line and each time a player bets or buys a bingo card, the jackpot is added to. In Las Vegas, all types of Bingo are available for playing in addition to specific adaptations such as Blackout or Coverall Bingo. The rules are the same for each but the winning line differs.

The rules of Bingo can be very specific for each particular game and it is important to read carefully the rules at the beginning of each game. This helps to avoid any mishaps due to a lack of true understanding of the game and the specific rules. Bingo is fun and exciting whether you are playing in your local church hall or on the beaches in Hawaii and the rewards can be very lucrative.
